About us
Junie is founded by a Central Saint Martins graduate from East London, a brand born from memory, meaning, and a deep respect for craftsmanship.
Junie is my ode to my grandmother, She was East End London through and through—glamorous, stylish, and completely devoted to fashion and beauty. She worked in a factory on the docks, yet once spent an entire month’s wages on a Red beret. This perfectly captures what she understood so well: the value of one beautifully made piece over a wardrobe of the disposable, this is the premise for Junie, the reason for the brand and what today is somehow lacking in a world of fast fashion, overproduced garments that fall apart within a few wears and end up on a landfill.
A friend once described my grandmother as having “champagne taste with lemonade money,” that sentiment sits at the heart of Junie. This brand is for women who know quality when they see it—who understand fabric, fit, and finish—but don’t always want or need to pay luxury price tags to express that.
We work with European-made fabrics, often sourcing ex-stock materials from Italian luxury houses. These are fabrics originally produced for brands like Versace, Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, and Dior—leftover due to overproduction or creative changes. By reworking these exceptional materials, we’re able to create high-quality garments at a more accessible price point.
Every Junie piece is designed and made in a small London based factory, close to our studio. This proximity allows us to stay closely involved in every stage—from design and sampling to final quality checks—while ensuring the people who make our clothes are paid fairly and work in a safe, supportive environment.
Alongside our core hero styles, we release limited-edition pieces using small fabric runs from our Italian suppliers. These are designed for women who want to stand apart, who don’t want to arrive at a wedding, dinner, or night out wearing the same look as someone else.
Junie is about more than just clothing. It’s about intention. It’s about choosing fewer, better-quality garments, It’s about confidence, individuality, and feeling your best in something thoughtfully and ethically made.
Champagne style, lemonade money—that’s the Junie way. Check out the Dresses section for our stand out styles for holidays, events and special occasions.
